What are we looking for?
As a Senior Android Developer, your mission will be to develop high quality new features on our native Android app BetterSleep while acting as an expert, coach and mentor for the team. You’ll collaborate and lead initiatives with Product Managers and designers to have an impact on all business KPIs like revenue, conversion, engagement and retention. In your team, you’ll also optimize for reviews and ratings, crash free rate, a stable user experience, work efficiency and predictability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain features thoughout the BetterSleep Android ecosystem;
- Define system, data and app architecture;
- Lead initiatives to drive measurable impact;
- Implement analytics tracking to analyze user and app behavior and measure A/B tests success;
- Serve as a reference for troubleshooting development or production issues;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Data, iOS and Web);
- Implement cross-platform modules in KMP;
- Provide expertise in software implementation, design, performance, and security;
- Mentor and coach developers and improve the team’s practice and processes;
- Streamline and automate tasks to enhance efficiency (CI/CD).
Tech Stack:
- Android : Kotlin / Java, Gradle, Android Studio
- Common : Git, Firebase, Jenkins, Fastlane, Jira, Figma, MixPanel, BigQuery, Google Cloud, Kotlin Multiplatform
- Bachelor degree in software engineering or any other relevant field;
- At least 8 years of experience in software engineering across multiple domain and tech stacks, including native Android development;
- Team player, methodological, structured, detail oriented and champion with time-management;
- Great communication skills, bilingual.
